AI voice enhancer reviews — every paper we have marked

An in-tray of six marked papers, each with a grade tab sticking up

Six enhancers sat this term's exam. Each review below shows the full report card — five criterion scores, the weighted total, the letter — plus the margin notes: what the tool is actually like to rely on, what its pricing works out to per processed hour, and what it would take to raise the grade. The rubric and weights are public on How We Grade; the ranked shortlist with buying advice is the best AI voice enhancer page.

A note on who is missing: the mega-reviewed household names are absent on purpose — the internet does not need another take on them, and our seats go to tools that get less scrutiny. And Krisp, which readers keep asking us to grade, is real-time call software, not an enhancer; it appears on this site only as our labeled, disclosed live-call recommendation, outside the graded cohort.

  • 89.5/100. Automated post-production that shows its working: leveling, noise and reverb reduction, loudness targets, batch everything. Top of the class — and it pays us nothing.

    Free 2 h/month · credits from $12 · S plan $13/mo

  • 81.0/100. The professional repair suite — perfect scores on scope and control, marked down for the learning curve and the price of the tier you will actually want.

    Elements $99 · Standard $399 · Advanced $1,399

  • 65.5/100. The music-bed specialist. Honest one-time pricing (~$4/processed hour on the Master pack), but a black box with no strength dial and no finishing tools.

    10 free preview min · 750 min for $50 one-time

  • 62.5/100. The fastest rescue on the board — drag, drop, done — and the purest one-shot black box on it. Cheap entry, expensive per hour.

    ~10 free min/month · Starter $6/mo ≈ 30 min

  • 62.0/100. A genuinely good real-time denoise knob that lives inside a DAW and, on today's product page, inside a subscription. The knob is great; the maths often isn't.

    Waves Essential $14.99/mo or $149.99/yr

  • 59.5/100. The one-click cleaner inside the ex-Podcastle suite. Fine as a feature, graded down hard on transparency — the vendor's pricing page hides its numbers from non-JS visitors.

    Essentials $19.99/mo or $143.90/yr (third-party listed)

Re-grades happen. When a vendor changes features, prices or honesty, the affected factor scores change, the script recomputes, and the re-grade is noted in Red Ink. A grade on this site is a dated judgment, not a tattoo.
